Again, I was having trouble accessing the internet, so no post yesterday. Yesterday was kind of busy because a NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) research vessel came in. They were out on a "Lobster Cruise" catching and releasing tagged lobsters to get counts in the northwestern Hawaiin Islands. They also had to drop someone off here who was having some medical problems on another tiny little island, so that person will have a plane come out and pick them up from the mainland. It's a good thing he has insurance since medical flights even from Hawaii run about $30,000. So now with construction workers, people unloading our supply barge, and NOAA people, there are about 50 more people on the island than we're used to so it's getting crowded.
Here's the NOAA ship "Oscar Elton Sette" just here for a day or two.
